Disc Golf Background & Experience
I picked up the sport of disc golf about 5 years ago now, when our band teacher started a club at my high school. I played casually with my friends after cross country practice, and while I enjoyed it, I never could have imagined how far I’ve taken it now.

I currently play on the disc golf team at Kansas State University, and we competed in the Collegiate Disc Golf National Championship in Rock Hill, SC, during the first week of April. It was incredible to play on the prestigious course at Winthrop University, and to experience the disc golf courses and community in the Charlotte, NC area.

I consider myself to be a conservative player. I’m not flashy, nor do I have big distance, but my strengths lie in my accuracy and ability to throw placement shots. I’m not afraid to play for par and take the birdies as they come.

I’ve only been competing in tournaments for the past year, and I have had some decent success. Most notably, I had a top 10 finish out of over 100 players in the singles round of the Mid-American Collegiate Regional Championship in Emporia, KS. I’ve also won a C-Tier in the KC area back to back years, as well as a few other top 10 finishes in tournaments in the MA2 division. I am working hard to improve my game, and I am excited for the opportunity that the sponsorship will provide me.
